Ramona Lile "AVU ranked first in Romania according to U-Multirank "

AVU occupies the first place among the 28 Romanian universities included in the ranking due to the number of type A ratings (maximum score) obtained for the 5 analyzed indicators. In the general U-Multirank hierarchy for 2022, UAV ranks 5th amongst Romanian universities.
"The 12 maximum grades obtained represent a confirmation of our university's rise on the international stage. It is a result that represents the work of AVU`s entire academic community. Most ranked categories, 6 type A grades, pertain to research activity, which shows the importance placed on this aspect within the university`s educational process. Also, the quality of the teaching staff and technology transfer were scored with maximum grades, each indicator being relevant for improving the quality of the educational process. We certainly still have a lot of work to do, but it is important to highlight each new performance," declared AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile.
The U-Multirank ranking is developed by the European Commission and establishes the hierarchy of universities based on the following indicators: teaching-learning process, research, technology transfer, international orientation, and regional involvement.
