AVU Research and Teaching Staff Members – Web of Science - Clarivate Analytics
The Hirsch Index, or h-index for short, is a metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of a researcher`s articles. Thus, h equals the number of published articles that are indexed by ISI Web of Science, and that cumulatively register at least h citations recorded by the same database. The metric can also be used to evaluate a scientific group`s productivity and impact i.e. a department, university or even a country. You can find more details here.
An academic can create a Researcher ID in the Web of Science - Clarivate Analytics database, to which they can subsequently upload ISI Web of Science indexed papers.
Database access is free form AVU`s computer network at the following address: http://isiknowledge.com.
It is worth noting that the h-indexis calculated by clicking on “Citation Metrics”, although this is valid only for those papers that have been previously added to the list by their author. The "Labs" option specifies all coauthors as well as those who cited the respective article. There are also two types of logos with ID links available that can be included in any webpage as a html line.
