Teaching mobility

DETAILS CONCERNING THE ACADEMIC STAFF

This type of programme affords academic staff members with the opportunity to teach in an EU institution of higher education for a period ranging between 2 days – at least 8 hours of effective teaching – and 2 months. A minimum duration of 5 days is highly recommended.
Academic staff members are selected by a university level Selection Committee, based on the priorities for the relevant academic year and the available funding. The application file must include:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Motivation (that is to include the proposed teaching plan as well as the reasoning behind choosing a particular university)
  • A Certificate of linguistic competence
  • Staff agreement for teaching
  • Certificate of Attendance or certificate issued by the host institution
  • Travel order form , signed and stamped by the host institution
  • A final, online EU report concerning the teaching mobility

In order to successfully complete a mobility programme – as approved by AVU`s Erasmus Charter-, the participant shall receive European Commission assigned financial aid for all transportation and living related costs.

An Erasmus+ grant does not cover all mobility related expenses; it only represents a contribution towards covering living and travel expenses. All candidates are to be informed about the necessity to co-finance part of the incurred expenses.
