In Memoriam

Yesterday, Aurel Vlaicu University`s academic community has lost one of its most prominent figures, Professor Corneliu Pădurean.

A man who loved history and unraveled its truths, generously passing them unto his contemporaries. A man who wrote Arad`s history and who will remain a local and national reference.

His presence as well as the joy of discussions brought forth by his vast culture which did not overwhelm with superiority but enriched mind and soul, will be dearly missed.

Farewell, distinguished professor! May God rest his soul!
