Erasmus+ Mobility Programmes with non-EU Partner Countries

Starting with 2015, Erasmus + has amended the available cooperation possibilities by extending its reach towards non-EU partner countries, particularly in the areas of higher education and youth.

AVU available Erasmus + mobility programmes cover the entire range of study, placement (for students), teaching (for members of the academic staff) and training (for academic/administrative staff members) options.

In order to implement the mobility programmes approved by AVU`s Erasmus Charter, all participants shall receive financial aid through European Commission funding for both travel and living expenses. However, Erasmus + grants do not cover expenses in their entirety; they represent only a contribution towards travel and living entailed costs.

In the case of undergoing Erasmus+ INCOMING programmes (between AVU and a foreign Erasmus + partner country), the funding related to activities specific to the programme type (incoming mobility) is covered from ANPCDEFP resources (based on the financial agreement signed by the partner institutions).
