English Language based Academic programmes

Students who wish to enroll for an English language based programme have the possibility to choose from the following undergraduate and graduate programmes.


Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.)

Applied Computer Science

The Applied Computer Sciences programme falls within the general area of Informatics. The total duration of studies is of 3 years (180 ECTS credits). The students acquire competences in visual programming, database management systems and software analysis. Additionally, students have the opportunity to develop their English language proficiency as well as interdisciplinary and teamwork, field related, skills.


Master’s Degree (M.A.)

Advanced Studies in Applied Computer Science

The Advanced Studies in Applied Computer Sciences programme falls within the general area of Informatics. The total duration of studies is of 2 years (120 ECTS). Targeted student skills are related to advanced data analysis, database programming, fuzzy control systems and integrated information systems. An additional practicum/internship course is also required for the MA thesis dissertation.


Mathematical Modelling in Research and Didactics

The Mathematical Modelling in Research and Didactics programme falls within the general area of Informatics. The total duration of studies is of 2 years (120 ECTS). Students acquire competences in developing and applying mathematical models in research as well as optimization models for decision-making. An additional practicum/internship course is also required for the MA thesis dissertation.

Literary and Linguistic Studies in the Anglo-Saxon World

The Literary and Linguistic Studies in the Anglo-Saxon World programme falls within the general area of Language and Literature. The total duration of studies is of 2 years (120 ECTS credits). Competences acquired by students are related to rhetoric and argumentation in academic discourse approaches to literary texts and criticism, written and strategic communication, etc. A two-week internship/practicum is mandatory under this programme.
