The enrollment period at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad has begun.

On Monday, June 30, the first admission session opens for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Applications can be submitted until July 17, either online at https://core.uav.ro/admitere or in person at the registration center in downtown Arad, Bd. Revoluției no. 72 (BNR Palace), Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

The public university in Arad is offering 3,364 spots, including 843 government-funded (tuition-free) places and 2,521 tuition-based places across 35 bachelor's degree programs, 32 master's programs, and 5 doctoral fields of study.

It is important to note that each faculty reserves government-funded places in each study program specifically for graduates from rural high schools.

Admission is based on application files for most study programs.
Only applicants for the following programs will take entrance exams, held on July 18 and 19:

  • Faculty of Design (both bachelor’s programs),

  • Faculty of Physical Education and Sports (both bachelor’s programs),

  • Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (music and musical performance programs),

  • Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work (primary and preschool pedagogy program),

  • Faculty of Food Engineering, Tourism and Environmental Protection (nutrition and dietetics program).

Required documents for bachelor’s degree admission include:

  • the registration form (available at the registration center),

  • high school diploma (baccalaureate),

  • academic transcript,

  • birth certificate,

  • marriage certificate or other documents attesting a name change (if applicable),

  • national ID card,

  • a medical certificate from your family doctor stating either “clinically healthy for university admission” or “clinically healthy, fit for physical education/sport/physical activity” (for applicants to the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports),

  • two ¾ size color photographs.

Master’s degree applicants must also provide a bachelor's diploma (or a provisional certificate for 2025 graduates) and the diploma supplement or the university transcript.

The registration fee is 150 RON, payable directly at the registration center.

The first round of results will be published on July 20, when appeals can also be submitted.
Admitted candidates must confirm their places between July 21 and July 23.
