Global Ethics Day at UAV

The Faculty of Economic Sciences of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (UAV) marked Global Ethics Day through a project supported by the Municipal Center for Culture, joining the international academic community in its efforts to promote the importance of ethics as the foundation of rational, sustainable, and humane decision-making.

The special guest of the event was Prof. Florin Lobonț, PhD, from the West University of Timișoara, whose presentation offered a valuable perspective on the ethical dimension in both academic and professional environments.

The event also featured student competitions in several categories — poster design, ethical business, and video projects — where participants demonstrated their understanding of ethics and its applicability in various economic, social, and professional contexts.

The project was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Maria Sinaci, PhD, faculty member at the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
