The first admission session at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad records a significant increase in the number of candidates

The first admission session at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad has seen a significant increase in the number of candidates applying to the state university’s faculties, compared to the year 2024.

“Despite the lower number of high school graduates nationwide, we are pleased to see that interest in UAV’s study programs has grown. In percentage terms, we have 11.35% more candidates compared to the July 2024 session. Another important indicator of our university’s visibility and impact in the region is the proportion of candidates from other counties, especially Timiș and Caraș-Severin, who have chosen to apply to us. I am confident that those who confirm their place and become our students will have an exceptional experience, thanks to the quality of education, our facilities, and the welcoming student and academic community awaiting them in the 2025–2026 academic year,” said UAV Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Teodor Florin Cilan.

The first results of the July admission session will be published on July 20, 2025, on the university’s website www.uav.ro, for all faculties of “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad. Also on July 20, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, candidates may submit appeals at the UAV registry office, with a valid ID card.

Following the announcement of results, July 21–23 is the confirmation period for those who have been admitted. Confirmations will take place at the enrollment center between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, except for candidates from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, who will confirm their place at the Rectorate (77 Revoluției Blvd., 1st floor, Room 17), and those from Theology, who are expected at the faculty headquarters (11–13 Academia Teologică St.).

Candidates who do not confirm their place will lose the spot obtained through the admission process.
