The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences turned 20!

5/25/2023

A special moment for the faculty`s staff members and students alike as they celebrate 20 years of existence. Former professors, alumni, local and county authorities, as well as national and international partners gathered in AVU`s festive hall to celebrate and commemorate this important milestone in the history of AVU`s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Message from the Rector:

"Twenty years have passed since the establishment of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Twenty years in which you have worked, dreamed, and dared. Feel proud of the results you have achieved.

You have managed to nurture this faculty, and I am confident that you will continue to do so. You are a young team full of enthusiasm and energy that any university would be proud to have.

Today, I would like you to remember those who have been with you on this journey but are no longer part of the faculty. It is fitting to honor them and express gratitude for the work invested in this faculty, for their sacrifices and efforts.

Together, all of you are part of this faculty`s history, of this university`s story that others will tell in 50 years. Make sure that the story is told with pride and respect," stated Rector Ramona Lile.
