“Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad continues the process of modernizing its academic infrastructure through the implementation of the project “UAV – Modern Infrastructure”, a strategic investment aimed at significantly improving study and research conditions.
📊 Total project value: 10,542,533.72 RON
🇪🇺 EU co-financing: 7,809,623.44 RON
📅 Implementation period: 18 November 2024 – 31 October 2026
📍 Location: Arad Municipality
🔧 The project targets the modernization of 8 faculties, the equipping of 42 classrooms, seminar rooms, and laboratories, as well as the implementation of concrete measures for accessibility and inclusion.
🎯 Main objectives:
• Creating a modern, inclusive university environment adapted to current labour market requirements
• Improving the quality of the educational offer through activities funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+)
• Supporting equitable access to education for all students
📚 Expected results:
✔ Modernization of educational infrastructure
✔ Development of a new master’s programme
✔ Implementation of measures dedicated to students with special educational needs (SEN)
Through this initiative, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad strengthens its role as a high-performing higher education institution, efficiently leveraging European funds for the development of education.
