Reputed economist, awarded Doctor Honoris Causa title by AVU

„Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad will award the high academic distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa to Prof. Emeritus PhD. Vasile Dinu, from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest.

His contributions to the development of higher education, especially in the field of economics, are recognized at a national level and are construed as reference point in the development of academic research in the area of economic sciences.

The event will take place on Thursday, 11.00h in the university`s headquarters located on Bd. Revolutiei no. 77.

The Laudatio commission comprises of: Prof. PhD. Radu Ioan, AVU Senate and Commission President; Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Academician Emilian Dobrescu, Prof. univ. dr.habil.ec. Dan-Cristian Dabija, from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration - „Babeș-Bolyai” Univ. of Cluj-Napoca, as members.
