“Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad invites you to a ski competition

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad is organizing the Winter Academic Challenge, a slalom skiing competition dedicated to students, alumni, and employees of UAV.

The event is part of the series of activities included in the European Week of Winter Sport 2026, a European project aimed at promoting winter sports.

The competition will take place in the Open Women’s and Open Men’s categories, consisting of two runs, on the Borlova Slope at Muntele Mic, on February 6, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.

The organizers, together with their partners — Turnu Ruieni Local Council, Muntele Mic Superski – Borlova Slope, and Salvamont Caraș-Severin — will offer participants prizes, medals, and trophies, in a competitive atmosphere full of good cheer.
