UAV Present at a Double World Premiere in Bad Ems: Rossini – Album français

Professors from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Music specialization, will participate in an outstanding artistic and scientific event that will take place on March 25, at 7:00 PM, in the prestigious Marmorsaal Bad Ems, Germany, marking a double world premiere in the Rossinian musical universe.

The event will feature the first complete recital performance of Gioachino Rossini’s “Album français”, part of the composer’s late vocal chamber repertoire.

The recital brings together an ensemble of artists from the Romanian, German, and Italian academic environments: Cosmina Silvia Stitzl – mezzo-soprano; Elena Doycheva – soprano; Daniel Zah – tenor; Ștefan Ignat (manager of the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest) – baritone; Gabriela Diana Matei – soprano II; Pauline Zippert – mezzo-soprano II; Ciprian Cătălin Roman – tenor II; Denis Matei – baritone II; Veronica Laura Demenescu – ensemble conductor; Lorenzo Martini – piano.
The special guest of the event is Reto Müller, President of the Deutsche Rossini Gesellschaft.

The event is part of an artistic and scientific doctoral research project, funded by the G. u. J. Leifheit Stiftung Nassau (Germany), with Cosmina Silvia Stitzl, PhD candidate assistant at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, as beneficiary.

During the evening, the launch of the first bilingual volume Album Italiano (German–English) will also take place. The volume was produced by an academic team from Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad. Authors: Cosmina Silvia Stitzl and Veronica Laura Demenescu; translation: Alina Nicoleta Pădurean; editor: Ion Alexandru Ardereanu. The publication complements the artistic dimension of the project by offering a theoretical and analytical framework for the repertoire under study.

The event is organized in partnership with the “Gegen den Strom” Festival an der Lahn, and at the time of this announcement, all seats are already sold out. Through this double premiere, the project significantly contributes to the promotion of Rossini’s musical heritage and to strengthening European cultural dialogue, highlighting doctoral-level artistic research in an international context.

The UAV delegation consists of three academic staff members who will perform in the event: Cosmina Silvia Stitzl, Ciprian Cătălin Roman, and Veronica Laura Demenescu.
