UAV students can benefit from the "First in the Family to Attend University" program!
7/9/2025"Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad supports young people who are the first in their family to attend university by including them in the "First in the Family to Attend University" project, part of the Education and Employment Program, carried out within UAV.
Students eligible for this program must meet the following criteria: be enrolled at UAV, come from a vulnerable background (families with very low income, young people with disabilities, or Roma youth), and it is important that neither parent has completed higher education.
The benefits for those selected in the program include: financial support of 330 lei/month for up to 2 years, reimbursement of accommodation and meal costs in the university campus, access to free counseling, tutoring, and personal development programs, as well as resources dedicated to those facing social, economic, or other difficulties.
The first step: choosing one of the 9 faculties of "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad. Applications are open until July 17 (Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM), at the admissions center on Bd. Revoluției no. 72 (across from Arad City Hall) or online at https://core.uav.ro/admitere.
