Ramona Lile, 'AVU, New Collaboration Perspectives with Chinese Universities'

'Aurel Vlaicu' University of Arad`s managerial team, represented by Rector Ramona Lile and Vice-Rectors Alexandru Popa and Teodor Cilan, participated in a meeting with an important administrative delegation from China; the Chinese delegation included the representative of the Fujian Provincial Government and representatives from two major cities in the province.

Organized by the Arad County Council and Arad`s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, the meeting provided a discussion framework for a potential future educational collaboration between Fujian Business University and 'Aurel Vlaicu' University.

"We have discussed the possibility of starting partnerships between the two universities, to pave the way for academic agreements and experience exchanges through mobility programmes for teaching staff members and students alike. AVU has a good collaboration with our Chinese partners, and we believe that the academic environment provides the necessary space for scientific and intercultural dialogue among academic communities worldwide," stated Ramona Lile, AVU`s Rector.
