Over 1,000 High School Students Participated in the Open Doors Day at UAV
5/15/2026Energy, curiosity, and many plans for the future at the “Open Doors Day” held in the M Complex of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.
Organized by Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, the event brought together professors, students, and prospective candidates in a dynamic atmosphere, where the university’s nine faculties presented their educational offerings.
Future students had the opportunity to learn about the 34 undergraduate programs available at the state university, the admission requirements, internship opportunities, scholarships, and possibilities for professional development. Fields such as engineering, economic sciences, humanities, psychology, physical education, physiotherapy, computer science, and theology sparked the interest of the attending students.
Many of the participants spoke directly with students from the UAV Students’ League and with teaching staff, trying to discover what the real student experience looks like beyond classes.
“Our university is deeply connected to the local community, and one of our most important objectives is to offer young people real reasons to build their future here, at home. We have study programs adapted to the current demands of the labor market, modern academic programs, and an academic community focused on performance and professional development,” stated the rector of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Dr. habil. Ramona Lile.
