“Arad Music Festival”

The Arad Music Festival, organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Musical Performance – Vocal Studies program), offers the people of Arad an exceptional concert titled “Sursum corda”, held at Maria Radna Basilica.

The cultural event will take place on Saturday, October 25, at 4:00 p.m., marking the opening of the festival’s third edition. Admission is free.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. habil. Silvia Sorina Munteanu, Lect. Dr. Adrian Călin Boba, Lect. Dr. Diana Brîndușa Chirilă, and Renate Binkitsch, Darius Bun, Liliana Dăescu, Paul Lung Frenț, Daniel Guler, Andrei-Silviu Joldea, Daniel Manguța, Marius Nicolae Munteanu, Mihai Muntean, Ileana Petrar Rus, Eduard-Blum Popa, Teodora Râpan, Rebeca Sandu, Alexandra-Mihaela Surdu, Denis Toader, and Răzvan Vlad – students of the Musical Performance – Vocal Studies program.

The festival will continue between November 4–12 with a series of events dedicated to promoting academic excellence in music.
These will bring together renowned names from Romania’s artistic academic community – Prof. Dr. habil. Veronica-Laura Demenescu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. habil. Ioan Ardereanu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. habil. Silvia Sorina Munteanu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel Rădoiaș (West University of Timișoara), Lect. Dr. Adrian Călin Boba, Lect. Dr. Diana Brîndușa Chirilă, Lect. Dr. Alin Văcean, Assist. PhD candidate Cosmina Silvia Stitzl, Prof. Dr. Radu Popa, Prof. Anna Leca, and Prof. PhD candidate Bogdan Costea – who, together with the students of the Musical Performance – Vocal Studies program, will promote artistic excellence and interdisciplinary dialogue in the arts.
