Ethics Day 2025

Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, through the Faculty of Economic Sciences, is organizing on Wednesday, October 23, starting at 9:00 a.m., a series of activities dedicated to educating young people in the spirit of global ethical values and professional responsibility.

The project aims to familiarize students with contemporary ethical challenges generated by scientific progress and to connect them to the global dimension of knowledge in the field of ethics. Participation in conferences, workshops, and competitions complements academic training, contributing to the development of critical thinking, creativity, and ethical awareness in both professional and personal life.

During the event, students will take part in:

• The workshop “My Ethical Business”, where they will develop business plans based on ethical principles;

• The poster competition “Ethics and Global Business”, dedicated to exploring the relationship between ethics and the global economy;

• The scientific paper session for economics students.

The special guest of the event is Prof. Dr. Habil. Claudiu Loboț from the West University of Timișoara, an ethics specialist, who will deliver the lecture “The Return of Character: Guiding Virtues as an Ethical Resource for 21st Century Professionals.”
