Webasto Table Tennis Cup

The second edition of the Webasto Cup in table tennis, organized by AVU`s Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in collaboration with Webasto, took place in the university`s sports hall.

"For the second consecutive year, the Webasto Cup was hosted by our university. It is an event that supports the involvement of young people in sporting activities, promotes table tennis, and last but not least, creates connections and fosters friendships. We would like to thank Webasto for their support and involvement, as well as our colleagues from the Faculty of Sports for their efforts in organizing the event," highlighted Ramona Lile, AVU`s Rector.

The top performers amongst the 60 participants were:

Boys: 1st place - Matei Alin, 2nd place - Varga Florin, 3rd place - Iordache Andrei

Girls: 1st place - Laszlo Cristina, 2nd place - Ungureanu Oana, 3rd place - Hoza Raluca

Event partners: Arad County School Inspectorate, Daniela Dodean Academy, CSM Arad, AVU Students` League.
