5/8/2025The “Caius Iacob” International Mathematics and Computer Science Competition Begins
The top-performing students in mathematics and computer science will gather at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad on Saturday, May 10, for the “Caius Iacob” International Mathematics and Computer Science Competition.
Organized by the Faculty of Exact Sciences at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, the competition—now in its 15th edition—has attracted over 400 young science enthusiasts from Romania, Hungary, and Serbia. Students from Timișoara, Alba Iulia, Hunedoara, Deva, Caransebeș, Orăștie, Lugoj, Arad, Pâncota, Ineu, Sebiș, Lipova, and Chișineu-Criș will be present and will compete alongside their peers from neighboring countries.
The official opening of the competition will take place in the ceremonial hall of Complex M, on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
