One-Way Ticket – The Traps of Drug Use and Violence
4/20/2026“Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad will host on Tuesday, April 29, 2026, at 11:00, in the Festive Hall of Complex M, Micălaca, the event “One-Way Ticket – The Traps of Drug Use and Violence”, dedicated to raising awareness of the risks associated with the use of illicit substances and violent behaviours.
The special guest and speaker of the event is Tudor Marian, former Head of the Central Detention Facility in Bucharest, who will share real-life experiences and relevant perspectives on the consequences of these phenomena.
The event is part of a drug use and violence prevention campaign initiated by Ellada Buildings, in partnership with the “Aștia Suntem” Association and Invento Branding, with the support of “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad.
“Our university assumes an active role in education beyond the classroom. Through such initiatives, we aim to contribute to the formation of informed, responsible young people who are aware of the real risks of contemporary society. Prevention starts with dialogue and concrete examples, and this event provides exactly this type of necessary context,” stated the Rector of UAV, Dr. Habil. Ramona Lile.
