Ars Theologica 2025
10/20/2025Between October 20–23, 2025, Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, through the Ars Theologica Research Center and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, will host a new edition of the International Conference Ars Theologica, held under the theme “Theology & Marginality: Doing Theology from the Margins.”
The event brings together theologians, researchers, and academics from Romania and abroad, providing a platform for reflection on contemporary theological research.
The official opening will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the festive hall of the M Complex.
Over the course of four days, the program will include plenary lectures, thematic sessions, book launches, and project presentations, featuring as special guest Prof. Dr. J. Ayodeji Adewuya (USA), who will deliver the Ars Theologica Lectures 2025, dedicated to the theme “Holiness in Pauline Literature & Today.”
The conference will conclude on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with a debate dedicated to the First Council of Nicaea, attended by professors and researchers from the university and the research center.
Through this new edition, Ars Theologica reaffirms the academic excellence of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad in the field of theology and interdisciplinary dialogue, strengthening international collaborations and contributing to the advancement of contemporary theological reflection.
