Science in School – Buteni Pupils Discover the UAV Labs

A new activity within the “Science in School” project brought students from “Gabriel Brola” Secondary School in Buteni to the Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (UAV), where they had the opportunity to experience the fascinating world of science inside the university’s laboratories.

The visit included interactive activities and workshops across several UAV faculties:
at the Faculty of Food Engineering, Tourism and Environmental Protection, students took part in experiments and practical demonstrations;
at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, they conducted physical strength measurements and tests;
at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering, they enjoyed technological and logical challenges;
and at the Faculty of Theology, they participated in a special moment dedicated to St. Priest and Martyr Ilarion Felea.

The project “Exploring the World through STEAM for a Sustainable Future (ELSTEAMSUST)”, funded by UEFISCDI and coordinated by Prof. Dana Maria Copolovici, PhD, habil., aims to bring science closer to students through interactive activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

The series of activities continues, giving more students from Arad County schools the chance to enjoy similar experiences — because science can be spectacular at any age!
