9/5/2022

Excitement, joy and lots of surprises for „Episcop Ioan Mețianu” Primary School`s first students; the institution has been inaugurated this year by „Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad and Arad`s Archdiocese.

Two infant classes were launched for the 2022-2023 school year in a festive atmosphere and in the presence of guests, parents and teaching staff members. Also present were the Right Reverend Timtei Seviciu, Arad`s Subprefect Doru Sinaci, the County Council’s vice-president Razvan Cadar, Arad`s Mayor Calin Bibart as well as General School Inspector Marius Gondor.

AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile commented on the event`s importance and warmly greeted the school`s first students. “It`s a dream come true for Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad. A dream that includes these wonderful students who have joined our school in order to be afforded access to knowledge and education. We`d like to thank the parents who have chosen us as educational providers for their children as well as those who contributed to the school`s opening. I would like to highlight the role played by Arad’s Archdiocese and acknowledge once more my colleagues from the Faculty of Theology whose unconditional support helped us reach this moment”.

It was the first day of school at „Episcop Ioan Mețianu” Primary School. A school where young ones will sharpen their minds and enrich their spirit.
