Ramona Lile “Excellent student lodging conditions in the new AVU dorm”
5/21/2021AVU`s new student dorm located in Gradiste, next to the Faculty of Design, will open its doors starting with the 2021-2022 academic year. The Ministry of Development financed project (through the National Investment Campaign) is 95% finalized and will be accepted shortly. The construction work has been carried out by Magnum Construct Proiect SRL. The dorm features 56 rooms with individual balconies, TV sets, fridge and can host up to 110 students.
The four-story building will be heated by fan coil units and features an advanced thermal insulation system. Each floor features a laundry room (with 4 washing machines) and fully furnished tea kitchens in addition to lecture rooms.
„It will be one of the most modern student dorms in western Romania. We are glad that we are so close to inaugurating the building and our students will be afforded the best possible lodging conditions” declared AVU`s Rector, Ramona LILE.
The dorm premises located on Calea Zimandului no. 8 have been visited on Thursday, the 20th of May by the Minister of Development, Public works and Administration, Mr. Cseke Attila who was joined by Arad`s Mayor Mr. Călin Bibarț.
