Inclusive digital interactive education at AVU

Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad will start a project for students on social scholarship. Totalling over 800.000 RON, the project aims to grant access to on-line education for its target group.

178 AVU students and 7 full-time members of the teaching staff shall be offered IT equipment intended to facilitate access to online education.

Additionally, 6 seminar classrooms/labs are to be equipped with interactive display type boards, all-in-one IT equipment, digital screens, graphic tablets and videoconference cameras as to be used by the teaching staff for educational purposes.

„We aim to develop future centres of education in AVU so as to be able to continuously improve our digital competencies offer as part of the educational curriculum, to invest in the professional development of the teaching staff, to promote good practices exchanges pertaining to pedagogical methods within a high standard IT training process” remarked AVU Rector, Ramona Lile.

The project is co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development through the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014-2020 which is to be concluded in December 2020.
