“Open Day within the project ‘First Student in the Family’”
4/29/2026“Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad hosted a new event dedicated to the educational guidance of pre-university students, organized within the project “First Student in the Family” (SMIS code 322249).
Students from “Sava Brancovici” High School and “Mihai Viteazul” College in Ineu participated in the “Open Day”, an interactive experience designed to offer them a realistic perspective on student life at UAV.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore the university’s faculties and laboratories, interact directly with teaching staff and students, and obtain relevant information about study programmes and professional development opportunities after graduation.
A central point of the event was the presentation of the facilities provided through the “First Student in the Family” project, a programme aimed at supporting young people from vulnerable backgrounds in accessing and successfully completing their academic journey.
