UAV Participates in the National Conference Dedicated to the Internationalization of Higher Education

Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad participated, through Mr. Tiberiu Dekany, in the conference entitled “Internationalization of Higher Education in Romania: Towards Balanced and Inclusive Mobility,” held on May 5–6, 2026, at West University of Timișoara. The event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, the Ministry of Education and Research, the National Council of Rectors, as well as specialists in international relations and European educational policies.

Current topics regarding the internationalization of Romanian universities were discussed, including academic mobility, the integration of international students, the development of interuniversity cooperation, and the identification of best practices in the field. Strategies for promoting Romania as an educational destination were also presented.
