Student Symposium “Economy – Present and Future”

Over 70 students from multiple university centers participated either in person or online in the 26th edition of the Student Scientific Symposium “Economy – Present and Future.” The event, organized by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad (project coordinator: Assistant Professor Dr. Melinda Petronela Luca) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research, provides students with the opportunity to engage in debates on current economic and financial topics.

This year’s edition welcomed Dr. Adolfo Alfredo Arana Sanchez and Dr. Carlos Oswaldo Venturo Orbegoso from the Autonomous University of Peru, visiting UAV through the Erasmus+ program, alongside UAV Vice-Rector, Professor Dr. Habil. Liviu Sevastian Bocîi. They actively participated in the event and initiated discussions with the attending students.

"This is an opportunity for UAV students to engage in debates on economic topics, to interact with students from other universities, and to benefit from the guidance and support of faculty members. I congratulate the organizers of this edition and all those who, over the years, have contributed to this event, successfully establishing it as a reference point in the academic landscape of student activities," said UAV Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Teodor Cilan.
