Arad University Sports Celebration

The Arad University Sports Days and the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (UAV) bring to the forefront a celebration of passion for movement, fair play, and the spirit of competition.

The event will kick off on Tuesday, November 5, at 2:30 p.m., in the UAV Sports Hall. It will bring together students, current and former professors, university partners, well-known figures from Arad’s sports community, and representatives of local authorities, in a festive atmosphere dedicated to performance and community.

The sports competitions will feature teams from three universities: Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, the University of Szeged, and “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia. Participants will showcase their talent and competitive spirit in basketball, football, and table tennis.

The competitions are organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research.
