The Institute of Geopolitical Studies (IGS) within “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad is organizing, on April 23, 2026, an academic event dedicated to risk communication in the context of food contamination.
The special guest of the event is Prof. Dr. Peter Raspor, Professor Emeritus at the University of Ljubljana, a renowned specialist in the field of food sciences and biotechnology.

The lecture, entitled “Risk Communication in the Context of the Infiltration of Food Contamination into Society,” will address relevant aspects in the fields of food safety, microbiology, and biotechnology, with an emphasis on current challenges and recent scientific developments of interest to both the academic environment and society.
The event will take place between 09:00 and 11:00 at the headquarters of the Institute of Geopolitical Studies (IGS-UAV), located at 43 Calea Aurel Vlaicu, Arad.
