Professor Cristian D. Popescu – Academic Visit to “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad

Between July 2–6, 2025, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad has the honor of hosting Professor Cristian D. Popescu, PhD, DSc, as a Visiting Professor — a distinguished scholar and researcher affiliated with prestigious academic institutions, including:

• University of California, San Diego

• Princeton University

• Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton

• “Simion Stoilow” Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy

• American Mathematical Society

During his visit, Professor Cristian D. Popescu will hold meetings with faculty members from the Faculty of Exact Sciences at UAV, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation and facilitating the exchange of ideas in the field of mathematical research.
The program will include working sessions, applied discussions, and the exploration of potential avenues for joint scientific collaboration.
