Coach Certification for Graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport

Good news for the students of “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad who will enroll in the Master’s program Sport and Motor Performance within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FEFS). Starting this year, graduates of the program will obtain, in addition to their Master’s degree diploma, a certification that allows them to work as coaches. Thanks to the protocol signed, with the support of the National Center for the Training and Professional Development of Coaches, between “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad and the specialized sports federations, students will benefit from professional training for the occupation of coach in the following disciplines: athletics, bodybuilding and fitness, football, gymnastics, judo, swimming, and modern pentathlon.

Present at the event, the Dean of FEFS, Associate Professor Viorel Petru Ardelean, PhD, stated:

“This protocol represents an important step in strengthening the academic offer of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Through this collaboration, we provide our students with the opportunity to obtain, alongside their Master’s degree, professional coach certification, which significantly increases their chances of rapid and effective integration into the labor market. We want our graduates to benefit from comprehensive training adapted to current demands in the field of performance sport and motor activities, and this initiative directly contributes to the professionalization and diversification of their career paths.”

Applications for Master’s studies can be submitted between July 9–23 and August 31–September 9.
