Job Fair for UAV Students

Nearly 200 job openings, 250 internship positions, and over 60 internship offers were available to students of the “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad (UAV) during the Job Fair organized by the Arad-based educational institution.

The event brought together employers from various sectors, including banking, services, the automotive industry, HORECA, and insurance, at UAV’s M Complex. For several hours, UAV students and graduates had the opportunity to interact with representatives from these companies and apply for available positions.

Local officials attended the event, including the Deputy Mayor of Arad, Lazăr Faur, the Vice President of the Arad County Council, Bâlcea Sergiu, the Arad County School Inspector, Borza Vasile, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Arad, Gheorghe Seculici, the Director of the Arad County Employment Agency (AJOFM), Alexandru Molnar, and representatives of the Arad Labor Inspectorate (ITM).

“Many of our students are already employed, which makes student life more challenging. In this regard, we try to facilitate their access to education by scheduling courses in the afternoon, giving them more flexibility. The fact that they are already working gives them practical experience, which is a significant advantage for their professional development, as practical experience is essential nowadays,” said Associate Professor Dr. Cristina Nicolaescu, Vice-Rector of UAV Arad.
