Artificial Intelligence in Education
11/21/2025“Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, together with the Institute for Geopolitical Studies and the Research Centre for Mathematical Models and Computer Systems within UAV, hosted the conference “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific and Educational Processes – Perspectives for the Future.”
The event featured two distinguished researchers as special guests:
🔹 Prof. Mitja Jermol, from the Jožef Stefan Institute (Slovenia), coordinator of the UNESCO Chair on Open Technologies for Open Educational Resources
🔹 Prof. Valeriu Beiu, from “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, known for his contributions in the field of nano-inspired architectures and computing system reliability
The open dialogue between the two keynote speakers, the UAV leadership, faculty members, and the students in attendance created a valuable setting for new ideas and ambitious perspectives.
The conference laid the groundwork for large-scale projects dedicated to integrating artificial intelligence into educational and research processes — an important step toward the future of the university and the academic environment in Arad.
