Abstract

Armed conflicts, social inequality, the impact of climate change cause people to
become refugees, including children who are alone or separated from their families
and relatives. Over the last decade, statistics show a doubling of the number of the
refugee children. The right to be a child, recognized by the international law, through
UNICEF and partner organizations, includes the implementation of child protection
activities, identifying the necessary solutions for the social inclusion of refugee
children.
