Proceedings of the International Symposium. Research and Education in Innovation Era. Second edition
The second edition of the International Symposium "Research and Education in Innovation Era" took place at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad during November, 20-21, 2008. This symposium is a direct following of the seven Scientific Communication Meetings held at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad starting with 1992. The symposium included fve sections. One of them was that of Mathematics and Computer Sciences organized by the Faculty of Exact Sciences. It is here where a dynamic, motivated and ambitious team has been constituted, eager to develop exchange and cooperation programmes with colleagues from several other faculties and receive them in their institution. The programme of the section included daily morning and afternoon sessions. The papers covered a large range of topics. The work programme included a number of 33 communications held in two subsections, which together with the debates, collective or bilateral, made the symposium useful to all participants. Today, with the publication of these proceedings, I can fnally be certain that the symposium has been a success and it has given a strong impulse to research. I would like to thank all participants and organizers that have contributed to the success of the symposium.
