Dr. Cristian Mihai Cira, este cercetator în cadrul Departamentului de Informatică şi Ingineria Programării la Universitatea Auburn din Auburn, USA.În prezent îsi desfăşoara activitatea sub conducerea dr. Weikuan Yu în laboratorul Parallel Architecture and System Laboratory (PASL), care are pe agenda domenii ca high performance computing, fault tolerance, high speed networks, parallel I/O, file şi storage systems.
