Abstract

The article contains considerations on one of the
criticisms usually voiced against introspection as a
psychological knowledge method, namely that some
mental states lose their consistency or undergo extreme
changes under the influence of self-observation, as well as
a new approach and, presented in detail for the first time, a
new technique by which this obstacle in the way of
knowledge could be used to support people who went
through traumatic events, with a view to desensitizing said
individuals to the effects of the events in question, so that
their health status and their psychological and physical
working conditions can improve.
