SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK – BETWEEN REALITY AND DESIDERATUM

This paper aims to present the importance of
the role of the social worker in schools, for the prevention
and improvement of the social problems and school
adaptation of students. We have chosen a qualitative
research method - the interview, in order to identify
school problems and the extent to which those involved
in the educational process can cope with them and
whether the presence and involvement of a social worker
in the mainstream school is important.
