Instructions for authors
Papers should be prepared in the following order:
- Introduction explains the background work, the practical applications and the nature and purpose of the paper.
- Body, to contain the primary message, with clear lines of thought and validation of the techniques described.
- Acknowledgements (when appropriate)
- Appendices (when appropriate)
Section headings should be left justified, with the first letter capitalized and numbered consecutively, starting with the Introduction. Sub-section headings should be in capital and lower-case italic letters, numbered 1.1, 1.2, etc, and left justified, with second and subsequent lines indented.
The Journal Plus Education is a transdisciplinary journal that engages a wide spectrum of scholarship and welcomes contributions from the many disciplines and approaches that intersect Educational Sciences research (pedagogy, psychology, special psyhopedagogy and social work). We invite for participation a broad range of academics, researchers, educators, and educational practitioners from across the disciplinary spectrum. We strongly encourage submissions that illustrate practice researches with examples and case studies; experimental research; psycho-pedagogical innovations; and best practices for the improvement the teaching/ learning/evaluation experience.
Articles should be no more than 20 pages, written with Times New Roman, 12, single line spaces. The abstracts can be one-page long (200-400 words). The abstract include Problem Statement, Purpose of Study, Methods, Findings and Results, and Conclusions and Recommendations. Please note that some elements are optional in abstracts. Authors will be asked to provide an electronic final version. Submissions will be refereed anonymously by at least two referees.
The journal uses the requirements of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition) of referencing. Authors are responsible for the contents of the materials published for the accuracy of references and citations, which must be in APA format (American Psychological Association).
